Housing Inspections Coordinator

Position Description
CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI and a federal contractor serving the IT and business processes needs of public housing agencies throughout the US, has an opening in Cleveland, OH for a Housing Inspections Coordinator.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Facilitate oral and written communication between Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspectors and Owners/Participants of inspection status
- Schedule inspections via phone with landlords for Initial Inspections
- Accurately schedule and document other inspections in the Oncue system and ensure re-inspections are scheduled according to policy
- Complete client requests in an accurate and timely fashion
- Communicate daily with client to communicate abatements, terminations, violations of family obligations and status of Initial Inspections
- Educate program participants, appropriate agencies, and the general public concerning HQS and housing agency regulations, policies and procedures
- Research and respond to inquiries regarding HQS and other inspection related matters
- Participate effectively within and across teams to problem solve and deliver quality service to owners and participants
- Work closely with team members to provide high level of customer service
- Process rent reasonableness determinations
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Inspections Supervisor and provide staff coverage as needed

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Highly organized
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Proficient with MS Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word and ability to learn new industry-specific computer systems
- High school degree is required, associate degree preferred
