Data Analyst Modeler

Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Engage with business stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and recommend technical solutions.

• Design and implement enterprise software for unique and challenging enterprise business problems

• Develop, document and implement data models for OLTP and OLAP systems

• Develop, document and implement data mappings for ETL implementations

• Deliver throughout the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support

• Assist in scoping and requirements gathering process

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter expects

• Participate in and lead Data Modeling Reviews

• Create and revise data mapping documents

• Lead and facilitate JAD meetings

• Document features and user stories

• Assist in creation of test cases as appropriate

• Collaborate with Systems Analysts to implement data models

• Propose process improvements for team efficiency improvements

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
The most important thing you will need is a passion for learning new things and solving new problems, because that’s what we do! As a consultant, you will also need strong written and verbal communications skills to work with your team and with our clients.

• At least 2 year of data modeling experience; preferably with Erwin modeling tool

• Understanding of APIs

• Strong understanding of databases like relational database Teradata, AWS RDS etc.

• HL7 understanding and experience

• FHIR format

• Healthcare background.

• Ability to work with dimensional models (T-SQL or PL SQL)

• Experience leading a Business Intelligence project team

• Strong written and verbal communications skills to work with your team and with our clients

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or directly related field

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

It is considered a plus if you have experience developing and executing an enterprise data strategy and/or data roadmap including strategies in areas such as data governance, data quality, or master data management.
