BNP Paribas has engaged on a transformation of Group Finance operating model and decided to create Group Finance Services (GFS) in Portugal, as a response to an increase in regulatory evolutions. GFS is a reporting and servicing centre, which covers a broad range of Finance activities for Group Finance and other métiers and entities within BNP Paribas worldwide.

Launched in 2016, GFS has quickly become a reference in the field, thanks to the expertise developed. It aims at further establishing itself as a front line player by leading the way to innovation in financial services methodologies.

Within Group Finance FRESH is the new IT framework encompassing Projects & Systems of Finance and RISK functions, with a strong focus on efficiency, proximity, agility and time-to-market. FRESH is a new worldwide organizational model that will contribute to tackle major challenges of the Group’s transformation of today and tomorrow, building the best offering to the Finance and Risk Community through a progressive rotation to new technologies and best practices. FRESH organization is the outcome of several convergences: between the Project & Systems teams of Group Finance, CIB Finance and RISK and their related IT teams. FRESH is part of the ITG organization (ITG in Europe and ITO overseas) with a threefold sponsorship by ITG, Finance and RISK (CIB-ITO; RISK Solutions and ITG-FIT).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the FRESH team you will act in close proximity with end users, providing services and means to fulfill short term requirements, to prototype, test and learn around innovation, to improve adequation between processes and their related systems, and to monitor production on a daily basis and support users especially on closing periods. In order to achieve theses objectives you will:

· Support team to perform accounting and extra-accounting corrections.
· Support team on extraction of accounting information stored in mainframe.
· Support team to collect, analyse and challenge business requirements: new requests or change requests.
· Support team to produce associated documentation and ensure developments auditability.
· Support team to monitor application portfolio and ensure recovery when needed.
· Report regularly to the FAST team Leader
· Collaborate with the Agile team based in Paris.

PROFILE

· Master’s degree or equivalent by experience in IT/Information Systems / Computer Science;
· Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications Access & Excel is mandatory;
· VBS and JS is a plus;
· IT production experience is a plus
· Previous Banking experience is a plus;
· Mainframe know how is a plus
· Excellent attention to details
· Availability and customer orientation skills
· Pro-active attitude with ability to work in a fast changing and demanding environment
· At ease with multi-tasking, strong team spirit
· Strong analytical mind, problem solving, planning & organisation skills
· Knowledge of foreign languages : English (B2 Level, CECRL certificate) is mandatory, French (A2/B1 Level, CECRL certificate) is a plus
