Assistant Relationship Manager (9 month contract)

Job description

Position Purpose

BNP Paribas has an opening for a candidate who is highly interested in working within the BNP Paribas MNC Team. The role involves supporting the MNC Team with the relationship management of the Australian subsidiaries of BNP Paribas' key global clients. The candidate will gain experience dealing with companies across many countries and industries, plus exposure the full suite of Corporate Banking products.

Responsibilities

· Support the MNC Relationship Managers with the maintenance of existing client relationships, plus the cross sell of Bank products to new and existing clients.
· Assist the MNC Relationship Managers with the preparation of Client presentations.
· Develop and apply an understanding of the Bank's internal policies, procedures and guidelines.
· Research and collect market information on MNCs and selected industries.
· Assist the MNC Relationship Managers with the preparation of Know Your Customer compliance requirements.
· Deal with other duties as requested.

Experience and Qualifications required

·  2 years prior experience working within a Business or Corporate Bank area
·  Experience completing Customer Know Your Customer requirements; and
·  Strong presentation and communication skills.
