Description  Since opening our first representative office in 1994, BASF has expanded its operations in Vietnam with two production sites and three offices. We provide products and solutions for various industries and applications, including agriculture, construction, electrical and electronics, oil and mining, nutrition and health, paints and coatings, personal and home care, petrochemicals, plastics, textile, leather and footwear, water treatment and others.OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION : The job holder will be responsible for implementing sales activities as well as conducting demand generation activities in the assigned area to achieve agreed sales target.Main areas of Responsibilities:
·  Responsibility for sales turnover in assigned territory:

Plan, execute & follow-up all necessary sales activities in the responsible territory to achieve sale target;

Monitor competition activities & evaluate impact and make timely reports.

·    Credit management & money collection:

Contact dealers to get relevant supporting documents for creating profile;

Check and timely update credit status for actions;

Remind dealer for timely payment.

·        Sale channel management:

Plan, execute activities to expanse number of dealers and/or upgrade dealers (e.g. C to B/A).

·  Collaboration for achievement: 

Cooperate with internal departments for necessary on-ground technical & commercial promotion activities in assigned territory to achieve annual sale target.

   

·  Responsibility for demand generation in the target area through:

Establish direct-contact and regularly visit key farmers / big farms & influencers in target area for technical consultancy and sale promotion;

Participate in related business activities in the area (Events, Trainings, Fairs, EXPO, …);

Maintain information about key farmers;

Make a weekly Activity plan and Results report.

·  Support for BASF Products Introduction & Sale Campaigns

 

 Plan & conduct effective demo trials by scheduling visit, recording data and providing results timely;

Conduct on-farm harvest days / farmer meetings as assigned to introduce & maintain products / ag-solutions in market;

Promote BASF products according to the marketing plan (UVP’s, Crop use, dose rates);

Ensure Product Stewardship Guidelines are followed.

Job requirement:

Education: Degree: Preferably in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics.

Working experience: Min two years' experiences in sales, in dealing with distributors/ retails; conducting demo trials and farmers' meetings

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Good concepts in selling skills and distributors-business development ; basic knowledge on products for plan protection, farming market, ability to present to farmers and retailers; Basic computer skills (MS. Office)
