What you can expect

Our newly founded Connectivity unit ensures the reliable, secure development and implementation of solutions at the interface between IT and automation. Within the field of automation infrastructure, for example, you will prepare for the use of applications in the augmented reality segment for production plants, technical service units and logistics.
You will evaluate and develop concepts for the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions.
As an expert at the interface between information technology and automation, you will work out, as part of a team, the development and design of future-ready digitization applications.
Furthermore, you will also provide support during project acquisition and in selective customer care at the subject-specific level.
In addition, you will work within the project team on your own responsibility and will support technology development and the global rollout of our production facilities' digitization applications.
You will compile the customer-specific technical, operational and economic requirements that apply to IP-based communication networks with a focus on IoT (Internet of Things) and Industry 4.0.
What we expect

You have a degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, information technology or automation engineering or equivalent qualifications.
Moreover, you also have experience with advising on and planning of IP-based communication networks and have solid skills and knowledge relating to new communication protocols, services and technologies in the fields of IoT, Industry 4.0 or network technologies.
You are familiar with the technologies used in IT and automation technology, particularly in the field of IT architectures, communications technology and network technology.
Ideally you have conceptual and analytical skills and enjoy working with a highly qualified, discerning and interdisciplinary team.
Your working style is characterized by a high level of customer focus, strong communication skills and assertiveness and the ability to get things done, and you are interested in innovations in digitization and communication technology.
