What you can expect

Our Intralogistics Services - Weighing, Filling and Packing Technology unit acts as the link between production and customers, ensuring consistent filling and dosing quality for products as required under the German Measurements and Calibration Act (Eichgesetz).
From the start, you will advise and support the unit and the production plants with regard to issues of technical integration of weighing, filling, packing and conveyor systems in overarching automation and IT systems.

·  You will be responsible for specifying and implementing the necessary interfaces and functions in the machine controls and the overarching systems.
·  In the process, you will support system and equipment modernization and optimization projects with your expertise.
·  You will actively integrate technical innovations from the Industry 4.0 environment, such as AGV, adaptive robotics, digital twin and IH assistance systems, into these activities along with other factors. To achieve these aims, you will emphasize availability, maintenance efficiency and machine reliability.
·  Last but not least, you will ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as those that arise from the German Measurements and Calibration Act and GMP.

What we expect

·  You have the degree of Diplom, a master´s degree or a doctorate in automation engineering or information technology, on which you earned above-average marks.
·  You are familiar with the technologies used to link automation and IT systems and have experience with the design of vertical integration solutions.
·  You enjoy working as part of a team, and you support ideas from team members that help to achieve top results within the technical community.
·  You already have experience with project planning or optimization of machines and units in the area of technical logistics, such as weighing, filling, packing, conveyor and warehouse technology and automation thereof.
·  Ideally, you have experience with implementation of Industry 4.0 applications in the field of intralogistics.
