RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit Human Resource is responsible for all personnel matters.

·  As an employment and labor lawyer you are assisting the Human Resource Business Partners and business leaders in the management and handling of all labor and employment related matters in the company globally with a special focus in Europe.
·  Furthermore, you manage all labor related legal matters and assist the company in all other employment related matters, including advising on the terms of the various collective bargaining agreements.
·  You provide in-house legal counsel on labor and employment related matters, which includes human resources issues.
·  In addition, you identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the labor and employment area and advise accordingly.
·  You educate stakeholders on legal matters, policies and procedures and establish as well as maintain trustful relationships with key stakeholders, works councils and labor unions.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Law degree with focus on employment law
·  Work experience in employment law and compliance
·  Excellent costumer focus and communication skills

BASF and Lone Star Funds have signed an agreement on the acquisition of BASF's Construction Chemicals division. After the planned closing of the transaction in Q3 2020, the business will operate as a standalone group of companies and will be one of the leading construction chemicals suppliers worldwide. The group will offer advanced chemical solutions under established brands like Master Builders Solutions or PCI for the construction industry, maintenance, repair and renovation of structures. BASF Construction Solutions GmbH located in Mannheim will become the new Global Headquarter for the group including several global functions.

The new group of companies will have around 7,500 employees that form a global community of building experts. They leverage global technologies and in-depth knowledge of local building needs to develop innovations that help to make customers more successful and drive sustainable construction. We will operate production sites and sales offices in more than 60 countries and achieved sales of about €2.5 billion in 2018.
