Job description

The European Site & Verbund Management is continuously developing BASF's large European sites, thereby ensuring their competitiveness: We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operating services and logistics with production at each site. This ensures the basic supply of the business units, which can subsequently perform successfully on the market. In addition, we advise the companies in all respects relating to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety and regulatory approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Site Engineering team plans and performs project planning for plant and equipment changes and new plants and equipment for our production and infrastructure at the site. In addition, Site Engineering handles the full process of construction, assembly and installation work and commissioning.

·  You will plan and implement projects, including plant and equipment changes, in the area of process control engineering.
·  In this role, you will be responsible for project management and will keep deadlines, costs and quality in mind.
·  You will act as a technical point of contact, advising internal customers at a conceptual level.
·  You will also assist customers with practical implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  You have a degree in electrical engineering or automation engineering.
·  You also have several years of professional experience as a planning engineer and in working on projects.
·  You are familiar with process control engineering in a production environment.
·  You enjoy driving change forward and contribute actively within your team in order to achieve goals together.
·  It is easy for you to identify the needs of partners and to provide them with optimum advice in both German and English.
