*Please note this role is a fixed term contract position for a minimum of 12 months*

Retirement Solutions is a large team that supports a variety of pension products with large volumes of payments and claims. The team provides a top-quality service to colleagues and external customers on pension products, Approved Minimum Retirement Funds (A(M)RFs) and annuities. We are looking for an administrator who can ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to and implemented.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Administration of claims and payments from unit linked pension products, A(M)RFs and annuities.
  • Build relationships with, and respond to the service demands of, Brokers, Policy Owners, Annuitants etc.
  • Ensure that transactions are completed within specified timeframes and to the required quality levels.
  • Protect customers and Aviva by ensuring that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
  • Deal with customer complaints and collaborate with the Team Lead to provide an outstanding customer service.
  • Prioritise and manage work queues to meet team and customer requirements.
  • Liaise with team colleagues and other internal departments and offer support as needed.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to existing processes and procedures that will ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Experience

  • Pension/A(M)RF/Annuity administration experience is essential
  • Attention to detail and an aptitude for numeracy is particularly desirable.
  • Either full qualification in QFA or APA, or working toward being fully qualified, would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident communicating with colleagues across an organisation.
  • Experience of using relevant funding/billing IT tools such as L400/PAXUS, Service Monitor/LGW or similar.
  • Good organisation, problems solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workloads and work to critical deadlines.
