Client Solutions Sales Associate - Aviva Investors

Job description

We are looking for a Client Solutions Sales Associate to be primarily responsible for new business development in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You will work directly with defined client segments to increase the promotion and sales of Aviva Investor products and services.

In addition you will provide proactive and effective Sales Support in collaboration with the Sales Director helping to win profitable new business for Aviva Investors. You will take a pro-active stance towards office administration as well as assisting in events and marketing activities.

Duties will include:

·       Develop new relationships and maintain and broaden existing relationships within defined client targets

·       Works with regionally based Sales Executives to co-manage targeted accounts and provide efficient and timely support

·       Contribute in achieving sales goals for Switzerland & Liechtenstein

·       Raise awareness of Aviva Investors investment products and deliver Aviva Investors messages through targeted prospecting activities inducing but not limited to: cold calling, direct mail campaigns, face-to-face meetings, branch meetings, and attendance at national industry conferences

·       Develops, maintains and broadens relationships by thoroughly understanding the dynamics of the targeted client segments. Act as trusted solution provider in matching needs with Aviva’s product range.

·       Develops a high level of expertise related to the capital markets, the investment management industry, and marketplace development for the targeted client segments. Utilize this expertise, along with product knowledge, to be a trusted advisor to client and prospective clients, and positions Aviva’s product range effectively.

•         Facilitate client meetings, arrange logistics, support with minutes and follow-up actions

•         Co-ordinate production of sales pitch documentation

•         Proactively create and interpret technical fund information in promoting Aviva Investors Funds and Solutions.

•         Internal reporting

•         Salesforce account maintenance

•         Work closely with Marketing to co-ordinate and organise sales or training events (lunches, seminars, presentations, conferences) and ensure all required materials are collated and available   

•         Proactively follow-up product campaigns, seminars and conferences to support the attainment of new business targets

The duties include further office administration

•             Drafting and sending Internal comms

•             Holiday management

•             Travel arrangements

•             Expenses

Desired Skills and Experience

·       Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of experience and training

·       Minimum three years financial services industry with at least one year wholesaling experience in the Asset Management environment

·       Excellent relationship management and presentation skills.

•         Fluency in German AND English is essential, French and Italian an added value

•         Eligible to work in Switzerland

•         Good typing skills and advanced software skills e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and knowledge of CRM tools/databases.

•         Accuracy and attention to detail

•         Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

•         Ability to manage own workload, often within tight deadlines and work using own initiative with confidence.

•         Flexible approach to workload and the ability to multi-task are essential.

•         High level of professionalism and integrity.

•         Pro-activity and initiative.

•         Problem-solving skills.

•         Maintains a high degree of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information
