Cash Management Analyst – COO – London

The Role

This role will support the Front Office in the execution of their core activities in a changing and dynamic environment by ensuring the provision of accurate, timely and comprehensive information and problem solving for the Investment Fund Managers and Traders.

Responsibilities

·       Build and maintain close working relationship with the Front Office and act as the day to day point of contact for queries

·       Acting as link between front office, JPM, national and international 3rd parties. Dealing with client service queries and interaction with JPM in relation to cash queries.

·       To be the point of escalation for cash reconciliations

·       Ad hoc cash queries

·       Ad hoc cash Reports

·       Enhancing Procedures

·       To develop and implement strategies and changes to improve processes and reduce risk.

·       Ongoing maintenance of Cash Management operating model/procedures

·       Ensure minimal errors and reconciling items and monitor causes to identify underlying trends

·       Oversight of daily Liquidity Cash Figures provided to the front office

·       To manage cash query resolution or escalate issues as appropriate

·       To be SME on cash queries.

·       To ensure margin processes are run correctly.

Requirements

·       IMC an advantage

·       Relevant professional qualifications.

·       Sound knowledge of the investment management industry, processes and systems

·       In depth knowledge of the reconciliation process

·       Previous experience in financial services administration.

·       Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suit. Intermediate to advance Excel.

·       Numerate and able to interpret financial data quickly and effectively

·       Effective time management and ability to work to strict deadlines.

·       Communication – excellent inter personal skills and documentation maintenance

·       Ability to problem solve and work with minimal supervision
