Job Description

 

The Web Application Developer will provide all web related services for our clients. This includes maintenance and support of existing sites and applications and new development.

 

·  The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to, the following:
·  Administration and maintenance of existing web sites and custom web-based applications
·  Development, design and implementation of new websites and custom web-based applications
·  Assist content editors in producing web content and graphics

 

Job Requirements

 

Required Skills:

·  1+ years’ experience developing with PHP
·  1+ years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, or other UI technologies
·  Experience with the Joomla Content Management System
·  Familiar with relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL or other similar)
·  Familiar with Apache web server
·  Familiar with Linux
·  Experience developing for cross platform compatibility of modern browsers and devices
·  Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software including Photoshop
·  Experience in working with customers
·  Good analytical skills

 

Optional skills:

·  Experience with CakePHP framework
·  Experience with AngularJS, jQuery Mobile or similar mobile first frameworks
·  Familiar with Apache web servers in a LAMP environment
·  Practical knowledge of Web Services (REST / SOAP)
