· The position requires a responsible, self-motivated, well organized individual with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to rapidly changing priorities.
· Also, this position requires the ability to work well with both peers and customers under pressure and deadlines.
· Responsibilities include: - Package and distribution of software and Windows Security Patches/Hotfixes
· Ensure requested tasks meet all applicable SLAs while providing world-class service. Accept and resolve all ESD (Electronic Software Distribution) requests within established SLA timeframes.
· Support the organization’s continuous improvement of Desktop Systems Mgmt. solutions.
· Distribution of Windows Operating Systems through Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Operating System Deployment (OSD).
· Improve the reliability and reach of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager / ESD services on the workstation.
· Monitor appropriate ticketing system queue(s) for new ESD requests.· Manage Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager advertisements and collections in accordance with standards. - Monitor package distribution and execution status and report when required or as requested.
· Monitor and maintain Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager servers, maintain server health, troubleshoot, and resolve issues as required.
· Provides rapid response to regional and enterprise issues and outages
· Provide technical support to the Project Planning and Implementation Teams
· Work under limited direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
· Possess a customer/user - focused attitude. - Interface with team members, clients, customers, and vendors. Provide technical expertise in a variety of areas.
