Repair Competence Center: Support Engineer

As member of the Repair Competence Center (RCC),

·  You’re the key contact for all topics related to the repair process of Worldline payment terminal devices.
·  You’ll be part of the continuous improvement process of the terminals during the product life-cycle (from the first prototypes to the End of Life).
·  You are in direct contact with the Sales organization for all customer requests.
·  By improving customer satisfaction and cost reduction you achieve the team targets.

Major areas and duties

·  New Product Introduction:
·  Define repair strategy, spare parts configuration.
·  Prepare product specifications, set up repair process and technical documentation.
·  Validation of the process/IT systems.
·  Implementation of repair lines and follow-up.
·  Cost follow-up and reduction.
·  Product support and Quality Improvement:
·  Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to improve the output of the repair.
·  Escalate to the appropriate teams the result of the findings and proposal for improvement
·  Support the subcontractors
·  Customers complaints handling:
·  Perform root cause analysis;
·  Define requested action plan;
·  Communicate results (documentation and communication);

Competencies

·  Engineer with degree in electronics
·  Strong affinity with PC HW and SW
·  Knowledge on IT networks is a plus
·  A ‘hands on approach’
·  Customer service attitude
·  Ability to work with statistical data
·  Strong problem-solving skills
·  Good communication skills (fluent in English, in addition Dutch or French is a must)
·  Good time management principles and effective in prioritizing workloads
·  A strong team spirit with a focus on team targets
·  Ready to travel
