Java Developer
EY Global Delivery Services means 27,000 specialists providing globally IT, HR, finance, project management and strategic business services to EY member firms.

In addition we deliver support and solutions to external clients from all over the world.

Right now, we are looking for a Java Developer to join our EY GDS Advisory team focused on providing cutting – edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.

The opportunity:
As a part of our global team you will participate in international projects based on Java and Guidewire platform as well as you will transfer insurance business of tomorrow.

Your key responsibilities:
This role is a crucial one in terms of our current projects. As a Java Developer in the IT Advisory at EY GDS Poland you will contribute in various streams of Guidewire and Java implementation projects as well as designing, implementing and testing code to deliver business solutions.

Skills and attributes for success:
·  Java/J2EE experience 3+ years
·  Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented principles
·  Experience with XML and SQL
·  Experience with Continuous Delivery
·  Knowledge of Clean Code
·  Good English Language verbal and written communication
·  German or other European language will be an advantage
·  Sense of humor
Ideally, you’ll also have:
·  Experience in Insurance domain
·  Experience in Agile development lifecycle
·  Knowledge of functional programming
·  Knowledge of Spring Framework
·  Knowledge of ORM (like Hibernate)
·  Knowledge of Polish language
