5 years higher education level in chemical/process engineering

Knowledge about the thermodynamics, hydraulic calculations, mass balance, statisitics.

Rigour, good communication skills.

Vos principales missions

The internship will work on different optimization projetcs

1. Optimization of the ovens performances
• Optimization of the the air distribution inside the ovens
o Perform several baseline tests to evaluate the air distribution inside the ovens.
o Propose some change of the operating conditions and follow up the industrial trials
• Optimization of the oven cycle time
o Compare the operating conditions of the different ovens and evaluate the impact to ovens performances (cycle time)
o Propose some change of the operating conditions and follow up the industrial trials

2. Optimization of the pastes transfer pumps
• Perform several baseline tests and mass balance to assess the performances of the existing pumps
• Issue an hydraulic balance of the existing pumps
• Propose options to improve the reliability and the performance of the pumps.
o Evaluate notably the replacement of the actual pumps by a better technology.
o Contact suppliers to evaluate options and obtain budgetary quotations
• Build a comparative table that describes the advantages and disadvantages of the different options

3. Optimization of the SAV2 unit productivity
• Propose options to reduce the fouling of the vent system.
• Contact suppliers to evaluate options and obtain budgetary quotations
• Build a comparative table that describes the advantages and disadvantages of the different options
