Well, hello chatterbox!

If you love to chat, and you can't resist helping people out with friendly advice, this is the job for you. Here at the Argos Customer Management Centre, we're in the business of making each customer's day just that little brighter than before. We're a bunch of friendly people, doing what we can to solve our customers' problems, efficiently, effectively – and always with a smile on our faces.

We get ample training, so we always know what we're talking about. And whatever our customers need, we're ready with the right response – whether they contact us over the phone or via live chat. From taking orders, to answering queries about products and deliveries – we're constantly working together to find new ways to improve our process, service & quality. We're here, we're ready – and we want you to get involved. We are more than just a contact centre, we are a customer management centre!

In us, you'll find a relaxed and friendly working environment, where there's always tons of support on offer. With your own mentor, superb team leaders, 6 weeks' comprehensive training, and every opportunity to up-skill and move departments – we think you'll love working here.

You can choose your contract size too. From 20 hours to 37.5 hours per week – the shifts are rotational, most include weekends, and are designed to give you a work/life balance. And the good news is that you don't need to have worked in a role like this before, you just need a passion for customer service.

And the really great thing?

Argos is now a leading multi-channel retailer. With over 900 million website visits last year and over 6 million app downloads, we generate in excess of £2 billion in sales through our online channels alone. Recently, Argos joined with Sainsbury's. That means there are many exciting times ahead – and the career development opportunities we offer are unparalleled.

It also means that you'll enjoy a fantastic range of benefits when you join us. From 24 days' holiday (pro rata), to staff discount in Argos, Habitat and Sainsbury's (available after 3 months with us), a subsidised canteen, free parking and an optional company pension scheme.

What's more, you'll be welcomed into our friendly and collaborative environment with a relaxed dress code. And you'll have our full support to develop the skills you need for the career you want.

We know that candidates may be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box. We also know that ‘normal' office hours aren't always doable, and while we can't accommodate every flexible working request we are happy to be asked. So if you are excited about working with us and think you can do much of what we are looking for but aren't sure if you are 100% there yet… why not apply and see how it goes?

Here at Sainsbury's Argos we're a proud equal opportunities employer that values diversity at every level of our business. Inclusion and Diversity are fundamental to our culture and values, fostering an innovative, collaborative and fast paced work environment that means we can build a better future for our colleagues and our customers. Everyone is welcome at Sainsbury's Argos. Want to find out more? Then visit our Diversity & Inclusion page on our Careers site – www.argos.careers/diversityandinclusion
