Learning Experience Developer (Level 4)
Job Description
We are seeking experienced instructional designers to capable of developing learning solutions (includes eLearning, classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning content).

The ideal candidate will be ready to has experience developing training for a broad range of media and interaction types with specific skill in blended course design through developing eLearning, assessments, as well as synchronous and asynchronous instructor-led training.

We implement learning solutions that reach worldwide Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Operations team members and personnel throughout Worldwide Operations. Our primary responsibility is to help our audiences be more effective and productive in their roles and drive safety awareness across the company.

Candidates should be creative and analytical problem solvers who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment. They must excel at working independently. Applicants must have a track record for delivering within tight deadlines in spite of complex or ambiguous challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

─ Work with course designers and PMs to develop content for training programs using rapid instructional design
─ Develop e-learning, reference material, and other creative assets
─ Develop classroom, virtual instructor-led training and blended learning content
─ Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment.
─ Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia based assets.
─ Manage multiple development projects simultaneously
─ Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
─ Demonstrated ability to create assessments based on learning and performance objectives

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
─ Extensive experience designing and developing learning through diverse mediums
─ Knowledge in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Human Performance Improvement (HPI)
─ Superb communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills
─ Great eye for usability and judgment for when/how to leverage graphical solutions to convey information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:
─ Experience with instructional design in a corporate setting
─ Training or certification in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, or Technical Writing
─ Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic Qualifications:
─ At least 2 years’ experience developing training content development
─ Proven experience developing learning under aggressive timelines
─ Ability to work independently
─ Working knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices
─ Proficient with a variety of eLearning development tools including Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate.
─ Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
─ Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field; or completion of a certificate program
