Visual Designer - AWS Brand Marketing

DESCRIPTION

The AWS Brand Marketing team is looking for a talented Visual Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who works well in ambiguity. This person understands the intricacies of brand systems, visual design best practices, how to expand design guidelines and loves a good illustration challenge. This position requires intrinsic design acumen, typographic skills, print and digital expertise and an acute attention to detail. Not only do you have the technical skills and a portfolio to back it up, you function as a conceptual thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the team.

Your primary focus will be to contribute to the evolution and execution of the AWS brand. You will be a part of a growing team that continues to evolve AWS brand patterns and visual language, including and not limited to photographic style, illustrations, iconography, infographics and typography. You will work closely with design leadership, marketing and product teams to create and bring ideas to life that help drive customer engagement for AWS, while constantly pushing creative boundaries to create truly impactful experiences for our customers.

The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate professionally with stakeholders is essential.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience creating and implementing a design system across multiple platforms
· Brand and identity development
· Iconography system development
· UI and UX Design
· Experience working with technical teams to deliver high quality designs

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of experience as a visual designer
· Experience designing for print, web, and mobile
· Bachelor degree in design or equivalent professional experience required
· Online portfolio or design samples demonstrating visual design skills and experience relevant to the role
