DESCRIPTION

At AWS we are driving a number of global programs across our AWS Media Series function to optimize our ability to improve the customer experience and increase employee productivity. The AWS Media Series effort if part of the AWS Solutions Architecture team.

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor that will
collaborate with program sponsors, producers and directors working with AWS Media Series to create bar raising and innovative video content.

You will be customer obsessed and have experience working on global, cross-functional teams. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills while working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment. You will have a broad experience in industry standard video post-production methodologies with a passion to innovate and iterate quickly. You will bring demonstrated experience with leadership responsibility for video content for technical resources.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Gain support for recommended content using strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
· Collaborate with customers at all levels to gather requirements and feedback, define objectives & deliver results
· Present and lead conversations about video projects, creative and post-production innovation regarding issues, solutions, and strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
· Prioritize effectively and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
· Partner with your program sponsors to define content strategy and key performance indicators.
· Deploy metrics to track progress against program metrics, report monthly on progress and define annual goals.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of field video production
· 5+ years of post-production experience for large or global content
· 5+ years experience creating docu-style content
· Great program management skills with experience in influencing others outside of direct line of reporting, and advocating on behalf of the customer
· Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
· Able to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers with minimal guidance, know how to influence, build cross-organizational partnerships.
· Experience owning and implementing process across multiple business lines
· Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels, including senior leadership
· History of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
· Experience with standard products such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Blackmagic Resolve
· Experience with production and post-product workflows for ARRI ALEXA and RED camera systems
