As a UX Researcher, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers and collaborate with cross-functional teams

We are looking for an User Experience Researcher to create the next generation of user interactions and digital services for a new line of consumer products. Particularly, we are looking for a highly capable individual contributor who will work alongside the UX and visual design team, and interact with product design, product management and engineering (software, hardware) to define and build the product experience. This position requires deep customer focus, the desire to learn, the ability to dive deep and invent, a sense of urgency, and the maturity to make hard decisions fast, be highly organized and self-driven, and have the composure and communication talent to effectively present to internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
· Identify and prioritize research questions based on the analysis of existing product designs, business needs, project goals and risks.
· Collaborate with UX design and product management team to identify opportunities for research to help develop deep understanding of our customers
· Apply the best method or mix of research methods based on product goals, timeline and resourcing.
· Perform quick but thorough data analysis in order to uncover insightful and actionable results that drive tactical and strategic product decisions.
· Ability to dive deep into both qualitative and quantitative data in order to bring forward new insights that generate product innovations.
· Communicate results and opportunities in clear, concise, and compelling ways to all levels of management.
· Eagerness to continually learn, grow and improve the craft of UX research.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of hands-on experience conducting UX research in an applied setting.
· Extended experience in testing hardware user interfaces, including but not limited to buttons, dials, sliders and status lights.
· BA/BS in Psychology, Sociology, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar.
· Experience with developing user insights, trends research, iterative prototype evaluation, value proposition assessment, concept testing, lab-based user testing, and field research.
· End-to-end experience with all aspects of the design research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and executive presentations).
· Experience selecting the right mix of methods to provide actionable insights to research questions and business goals, and experience inventing new methods when the right method does not exist.
· Behavioral data-collection and analysis skills, (e.g., designing, conducting, and analyzing all kinds of user data.)
· Experience with design thinking and agile development and understand how design research fits within these frameworks.
· Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule
· A portfolio of past research work experience, deliverables demonstrating proficiency and judgment, and ability to deliver results.
