DESCRIPTION

Amazon Care is looking for an experienced product designer to join our team. We are a passionate team working to build a best in class healthcare experience designed to make high-quality healthcare easy to access. We are a customer-obsessed, operating in an innovative environment, piloting Amazon Care for Amazon employees and their families in the Seattle area. In this role you will be responsible for driving visual decisions across a system that serves multiple products. You will work alongside Brand and UX designers, product managers, and engineers to define the details that make an experience lovable. You will improve, iterate, and reimagine the product and branding experience to systematically shape the next generation of clinician and customer facing-experiences. You understand that UX and UI work hand in hand, and have experience building visually compelling product experiences that are simple to use and accessible. You have experience distilling complicated workflows, with multiple stakeholders, into elegant information architecture that help customers understand how they can achieve the job they are looking to perform. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced startup like environment. To be successful, you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing highest standards of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
· Translate UX wireframes into compelling visual experiences
· Develop rapid visual prototypes and mockups for UXR testing.
· Develop consistent visual language across app and portal ecosystems, creating a pattern/component library for both
· Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· A portfolio that demonstrates a strong ability to develop ideas into creative concepts, including mastery of the principles of design, color theory, and file creation optimized for the web
· Experience creating and working with large-scale design systems that span content types and teams
· An understanding of UX process including stakeholder mapping, user flows, and customer journeys
· Examples of pushing for unprecedented customer experiences, beyond business requirements
· Experience working on employee workspace products aimed to maximize efficiency while delivering a delightful experience.
· Solid written and verbal communication skills
· Specific visual storytelling expertise such as illustration, animation, or video with examples

· 5+ years of professional experience in UI design
· An online portfolio of your work
· Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
