DESCRIPTION

Amazon Advertising's creative and design arm is searching for a talented Motion Designer who is also skilled in the craft of Visual Design. In this role, you will explore and design modern, mobile-first UI concepts and inspire advertisers to “green light them,” so you can then bring them to life. The role today is a 50/50 split between Motion & Visual, but the expectation is you will help lead our business to a place where the position will be predominantly Motion.

As an Amazonian, you will be given room to set your own goals; a chance to come up with ideas for innovative, scalable templates and digital experiences that can potentially become repeatable products—before proactively working with internal resources to develop them. As a leader you will autonomously own our biggest projects: this includes taking kick of calls from advertisers, briefing in your own team, working with resourcing to have them scoped, leading internal meetings, and writing, crafting & producing the pitch deck.

As a Leader, you will consistently demonstrate Amazon's leadership principles while proactively identifying opportunities for self and team development. And most importantly, you will be customer obsessed.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of design experience
· An available online portfolio
· An outstanding online portfolio
· 6+ years working experience as a Motion Designer
· Skilled in client engagement
· Instinctively obsess over customers, and take bias for action to make progress and deliver results in many facets
· Thrives in ambiguity: known for solving internal problems autonomously, does not get blocked by inconveniences or uncertainties
· Prototyping software (whether Sketch, XD or Figma)
· After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator—the full Adobe Creative Suite
· Proficient in English, written and verbal
