The AWS WW Revenue Operations (WWRO) team is looking for a strong QAE to lead test automation and infrastructure development and provide testing support of new designs and features, which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with engineers and Product Owners to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms. The ideal candidate will be able to both dive deep as well as see the broader picture and analyze and communicate impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Contribute to building and scaling test automation frameworks using a combination of open source and AWS internal tools and technologies
· Build automated test coverage for critical functional areas under test
· Collaborate with SDMs and SDEs to improve technical design for testing functionality at scale and best practices
· Work with other QAEs & SDETs across multiple teams to coordinate end-to-end test coverage
· Provide functional testing support for Sprint teams as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
· Experienced in backend API testing automation
· Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
· Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team
· Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience with Continuous Integration

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 5+ years professional experience as an SDET, QAE or similar role
· Experience developing automation in an OO language
· Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
· Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
· Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
