DESCRIPTION

Amazon Student Programs is looking for Operations Interns to join our development teams located in the Amazon Cajamar, Fulfillment Center.

We are looking for Amazon interns to join us for summer 2019! Amazon internships are full-time (30 hours/week) for 6-24 consecutive months with start dates between June 2019 through August 2019.

Amazon interns have the opportunity to work alongside the industry's brightest engineers who innovate everyday on behalf of our customers. As an intern, you will be matched to a manager and given the opportunity to have direct impact on the evolution of Amazon's technologies as well as lead mission critical projects early in your career.

As an Ops Intern you can assist in the management of daily inventory control, quality assurance, training and capacity activities for our Warehouse. Inventory control and quality assurance activities plays a critical role in leading best stow and picking practices, and capacity management inside the warehouse and thereby has direct impact on Amazon's ability to serve customers on time.

In addition to an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians in both personal and professional development, expand your network, and take part in fun activities throughout the summer. No matter the location of your internship, we give you the tools to own your summer and learn in a real world setting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to work 6 hours/ day and 30 hours/week
· Strong verbal and written communication
· Advanced Portuguese and English
· High level of influence Performs best in teams and collaborative environment
· Analytical and quantitative skills
· Ability to use hard data to back up assumptions
· Confident functioning in ambiguous environment
· Ability to self- start and take action
· Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (pivot tables, vlook up, charts,)
· Enrolled in at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or other related Engineering
