Job Overview
The HRA will primarily support the Print Operations teams. Primary areas of responsibilities include payroll processing and related activities, new hire on-boarding, attendance tracking, electronic personnel file management, unemployment claims, compliance & HR training, partnering with managers on progressive discipline documentation, investigations, employee engagement activities and HR process improvement and documentation.

Position Responsibilities

Payroll & Timekeeping:
· Acts as back-up for payroll processing by using multiple software systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll, paid time off adjustments, leave of absence
· Partners with managers to educate, track and communicate compliance with company policies and practices as well as federal and state regulations
· Audits HRIS for Leaves of Absence, Return to Work notifications and Shift Differential
· Creates and generates reports for client group customers (HR, Operations managers, OMR, etc.)
Pre-Hire & On-boarding:
· Partners with Operations Recruiting team with distribution of pre-hire paperwork, collects new hire information, completes I-9 verification & reporting, roster updates
· Processes bonus payments for the Employee Referral program
· Conducts new hire orientation
· Partners with Ops Training team to deliver and track required compliance trainings
· Educates new hires on use of timekeeping and self-service tools, the Employee Resource Center (ERC), corporate intranet & wiki as additional sources of information
· Owns the Internal Transfer process for Tier I - Tier III Operations employees

Employee Life Cycle and HRIS:
· Ensures data integrity in HRIS (PeopleSoft) and other people related systems
· Maintains employee personnel records in OnBase
Administrative:
· Documents processes, creates trouble ticket quick links & dashboards for HR team
· Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner – gathers appropriate data, analyzes information and recommends solutions
· Facilitates training sessions to non-exempt employees on various topics: LOA, Career Choice, RSUs, Time & Attendance
· Coordinates employee engagement activities (VOA board, Peak competitions, etc.)
· Partners with Amazon's Regional Workers' Compensation Manager to track and manage employee WC claims
· Tracks Leave of Absence applications, approvals, return to work status and accommodations
· All other projects and responsibilities as assigned

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
· General Human Resource or Payroll practices knowledge
· Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook as well as other software
· Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and overtime, as needed, and in our busy peak season
· Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
