Here's your chance to join the Training & Certification team working in the highly visible role of Head of Training & Certification – ANZ. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing the ANZ Training and Certification Business. You will manage a team of Instructors and Business Development Managers, as well as work closely with customers to craft training programs that will help drive adoption and usage of AWS services. You will assist customers to understand their training requirements, develop detailed training proposals and manage the flawless execution of training plans. This is a great opportunity to combine your passion for business development, learning and technology. You will also be responsible for P&L management in ANZ.

You will have excellent communication skills and proven business development experience, ideally in the IT Training sector. To be successful in this position, you must be a self-starter who is prepared to Think Big and Dive Deep.

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Account and Partner Teams to identify, plan and deliver Training and Certification Programs for AWS Partner and Customer Audiences
· Manage Technical Trainers ensuring that they are developed and utilized across AWS products and Services
· Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure flawless execution of training plans.
· Work closely with the AWS country leadership to help plan and execute a comprehensive AWS digital skills development framework across ANZ.
· Conduct Training Needs Assessments with key customers.
· Create & nurture Training Partnerships in ANZ supporting them to drive business.
· Develop a strategy to cooperate with local and national organizations, including public sector, higher education or large non-profit or for-profit organizations to design, build and execute long-term projects supporting Digital Skills.
· Evangelize AWS Training & Certification at company and industry events.
· Manage and drive all training investment programs in country, including philanthropic sponsoring or funded training projects for customers, AWS partners or a wider audience.
· Drive training engagements at the CXO level as well as with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations.
· Build & maintain a pipeline of training opportunities and provide regular forecasts.
· Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Extensive business development, technical & pre-sales experience, preferably in the IT industry.
· Experience managing an Education P&L: Financial Management able to effectively manage Cost, Revenue and Margin.
· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
· Experience conducting Training Needs Assessments and developing training plans.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills.
· Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).
· Strong commercial experience and business acumen.
