We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Turkey Retail Finance team based in Istanbul.

The Financial Analyst will contribute to all controllership functions including financial reporting, planning, control and analysis to service our Turkish customers. In this role, you will partner with your business and the commercial and other cross-functional teams (retail and 3rd party category management, fulfilment and transportation, marketing, accounting, tax and all other support teams) to deliver growth and financial commitments. Through insightful and data-driven analysis, you will lead growth and profitability improvement initiatives and work with the cross-functional teams to understand and boost the key drivers of the business. The role is broad in scope and will require an individual who is motivated to make an impact. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Amazon motto to “Work Hard. Have Fun. Make History.”

Responsibilities:
· Using data and applying analytical methods to assist in improving controllership across the Amazon Retail business.
· Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting to develop the improvement plans and create new measures
· Ensure that financial controls and processes are in place and respected trough continuous audit, reporting and systems implementation
· Establish and maintain operating and business metrics, develop next generation metrics and dashboards and improve accuracy and pace of the decisions based on those metrics
· Integrate data improvements and increased visibility into financial reporting and planning processes
· Manage the development of all weekly and monthly financial controllership incorporating all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation while communicating actively with your business partners
· Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years' experience in a highly analytical role within a fast-paced metrics driven environment
· Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models
· Ability to perform complex analysis and simplify its communication
· Advanced computer literacy (MS Excel, SQL/other Database)
· Bachelor's in finance, economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics
· Fluent in English
