DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Employee Services Technology (ES Tech) team is building a HR Contact Management solution on Salesforce Service Cloud. We are onboarding new programs across globe onto this platform. ES Tech will enable employee self-sufficiency by providing simple, intuitive self-service tools across devices using communities, lightening, and other Salesforce next gen technologies. We will implement the overall self-service strategy and user experience for our employees and partners by integrating it with other Amazon cross systems and platforms like telephony, content management system (CMS), and analytics ensuring consistent global experience.

Amazon's ES Tech team is looking for a hands-on, experienced Principal TPM to help develop our complex HR organization. The person will manage implementation of multiple projects making sure customer strategic goals, requirements are delivered with quality, ensuring a scalable, extensible, and maintainable solution with all cross system integrations.

We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable and confident in their expertise on the various technology platforms and has the ability to share, teach and guide technical team members to the best design and architecture. You will work directly with the technical leads from multiple work-streams to ensure best practices are used and that approved designs are scalable and supportable in the long term. You will define and implement processes to assure the platform architecture is aligned with the technical roadmap and our business stakeholders' feature roadmap. You will also drive automation of processes, develop new applications, and manage the integrations to our various business systems for our various environment.

As a Principal TPM you will be expected to:
· Own programs with significant complexity with broad cross-organizational and/or deep architectural impact.
· Drive large engineering efforts that solve significantly difficult problems with complete independence.
· Identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies, architecture(s), in engineering organization structure(s).
· Improve how organizations interact to achieve business and technology goals.
· Create and optimize cross-organizational structures and mechanisms to ensure long-term success.
· Decompose complex processes into simple, straight-forward solutions.
· Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members.
· Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of experience managing complex technology projects
· Experience with agile development methodologies (i.e. Scrum, XP, etc)
· Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects
· Experience with object oriented development and design (preferably in both client and server development solutions)
· Experience and proficiency with web technologies and tools
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· A passion for data-driven decision-making
