Serve as an investigator within the Security and Loss Prevention investigations team, a central support function to the wider Loss Prevention team in EMEA. Provide investigative services and guidance for Amazon.com and work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization (Legal, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Corporate Audit, Field Security and Loss Prevention and the LP Supply Chain Team, related software teams, IT and Fraud Security, and other related areas).
Developing and maintaining relationships with EMEA National, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and develops a strong network of contacts within LE. Supports development of investigative strategy, deployment, and execution; plans and conducts investigative operations, assists in the delivery of training and professional development of the wider EMEA LP team.
Supports highly sensitive and/or high profile investigations.
Maintains EMEA loss and investigative metrics including the compiling of regular management reports and has an active role in the maintenance and governance of the investigation reporting tools.
The position requires the use of discretion when dealing with sensitive matters, and the ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment. The position is based in Europe (IT or ES)
Bachelor's degree in security or related field or equivalent through professional certification programs.
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) certification.
Three (3) plus years of experience managing investigations, preferably in a global organization
Four (4) plus years of experience in conducting criminal and fraud investigations (online and supply chain loss investigations, accounts payable fraud and partnerships with LEAs for successful prosecutions).
