DESCRIPTION

Our goal on the Books ASE Learning & Performance team is to support our customers in making their publishing dreams come true. We do this by making sure every single employee gets the best training, mentoring and coaching – and as a result, our customers get a great experience every time, on every contact.
We are hiring a Customer Service Facilitator responsible for training delivery and performance support for all new hire, continuing education, refresher and launch training for the CS organization. The Learning Facilitator will work closely with CS Group Managers and Team Advisors in Japan and across sites to support ongoing learning and provide awareness for upcoming training initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a background in facilitation and driving process improvements across a global network. S/he will design and deliver training content and help the ASE team meet the goal of having no less than 80% of all learners trained meet production targets by the time tenure is reached. A successful candidate will leverage deep understanding of the business to translate business insight and strategies to skills and capabilities needed by learners. In addition to delivering training, the person hired into this role will be responsible for adding/editing training content developed by the ASE instructional designers to include JP specific processes and policies.
Candidates should have experience working autonomously and remotely from direct line management and/or peers and colleagues. In addition, this role seeks both informal and formal feedback on training programs for trend analysis and for the improvement of training programs as well as the identification of future training opportunities for our global support agents. Expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships and a proven track record of strong ownership are core to the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Prior management experience
· Prior experience working in LMS systems

· Strong English and fluent Japanese
· Prior experience delivering training
· Prior experience managing performance of employees
· College degree preferably in, education or related field or at least 2 years’ experience at Amazon
· Proven ability to develop learning content
· Ability to travel up to 10%
