AMOC Compliance Analyst

To that end, Amazon is seeking a disruptive and groundbreaking thinker to provide strategic and tactical leadership over maintenance, repair and vendor management operations to support the Global Specialty Fulfillment, AMZL and Specialty Retail businesses across the North American market from our Amazon Maintenance Operations Center located in Tempe, AZ. The AMOC Compliance Manager will coordinate with several teams across the organization and will interact with our suppliers to satisfy organizational requirements. This position will support, align and partner with multiple teams to develop and execute programs to ensure required documentation is procured and retained for all regulatory, warranty, EHS and vendor specific items. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, and a creative, critical thinker with an intense motivation to learn. You must be an effective communicator and be able to work independently and generate high-quality work in a collaborative, creative, ever-changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment. You must have a professional demeanor and be able to partner with people at every level.

Job Requirements:
· Drive appropriate relationships with vendors, with a principal objective of achieving the optimal solution and cost of ownership that meets the business' goals supported by a culture of continuous improvement with performance benchmarks in use.
· Drive vendors in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance and add value to Amazon.
· Align with internal customers and understand their needs and business applications of centralizing compliance management.
· Collaborate with AMOC and RME field teams to ensure Amazon class service delivery to our internal customers.
· Manage the commercial aspects of the warranty on projects as dictated by the governing commercial terms and conditions.
· Establish written procedures and work processes for operational activities.
· Analyze root cause of missing or incorrect documentation and warranty claims and identify methods to reduce exceptions.
· Drive continuous improvement for Compliance programs.
· Document, validate, and resolve warranty claims, and communicate with customers and vendors in a timely manner with a goal of continuing strong customer relations.
· Collaborate with the Engineering departments and MHE vendors on solutions for warranty issues and the Service department to coordinate and manage onsite service and/or installation of engineered products and solutions.
· Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Operations, Business Administration or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
· 3 + years of working with vendor contracts
· Supplier management and engagement experience
· 4+ years use of MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based applications and possess ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
