Internship: Automation of dummy airline creation using workflow tool

· Goal of this internship is to participate in creating a new tool dedicated to dummy/fake airlines automation.
· Trainee's mission will be:
· to apprehendAmadeus world and Test Systems, then the dummy airline automation project
· to integrate the dummy airline automation development team that works with Agile methodology
· to think about the possible workflow strategies optimizations

Start date: April – May – June 2018

Duration: 6 months

Team Description and internship goals

· Lifecycle Governance and Customer Services team is in charge of Test Systems governance in Amadeus.
· We define the Tests Systems vision and coordinate actions to build powerful and resilient Tests Systems used by all Amadeus customers and by internal users.
· We are also responsible for creating Tests Airlines dedicated to QA engineers, developers, trainers, etc.
· This process is heavy and our goal is to automate dummy airline creation.
· Some roadmaps for real airlines creation are existing, idea is not to copy/paste them but rather study what could be the best way to define their automation.
· The trainee will work on an existing workflow tool used to implement this automation.
· Tool is mostly based on Netflix Open Source product named Conductor.

Main internship responsibilities

· Idea is to understand what are the needs, to list all actions to perform for dummy airline creation and then to ordinate them in the workflow tool.
· The trainee will participate in regular meeting status dedicated to progress report, blocking points, performance requirements.
· Trainee mission will also be to work closely with engineer dedicated to this automation, learn from his experience, and define an efficient airline workflow model studying possibly finite automata formalism, Petri networks theory.
· This is also a good opportunity to develop new product (airline automation) in Amadeus.
