Purpose of the Job

Take care of the industrialization activities for preventative and main overhaul operations (in particular those related to the bogie) described in the Maintenance Plan.

Position in the Organisation

Organisation structure

The position is within the Industrial Department.

Organisational reporting

Reports directly to the Industrial manager.

Key network and links

Links with Production, Supply Chain (SC), Quality (QUA), EHS, Engineering, TLS Platform (LRH), Warranty Implementation, BIS, Tools warehouse, overhaul methods engineer.

Mission

Performance Measurement

·  Documentation, Railsys, tools, materials, layout, cycle times and training ready on time
·  Deployment strategy in line with Project targets (availability, saturation)

Responsibilities

The deliverables and responsibilities are :

1. Preventative Maintenance

·  Analyze the requirements described in the Maintenance plan,
·  Validate the procedures and customize where needed,
·  Define tools and materials,
·  Validate with the project team the optimal strategy to be deployed to maximize saturation of production resources and train availability,
·  Organize all the maintenance activities in line with SOS requirements (Sequencing of tasks, cycle time, lead time, packaging, ergonomics, competencies, EHS constraints and Quality requirements),
·  Document Railsys (Task list, material issue slip, tools list),
·  Organize layout (tools and materials) and line-side supply,
·  Train Production teams.

2. Overhaul Maintenance

·  Analyze Make or Buy options,
·  Manage suppliers of Main equipment,
·  Organize the layout (stations, flow of material/people, N° of operators, civil works),
·  Overall responsibility for the correct implementation of the overhaul activities.
