JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Consulting:
1) Utilizes thorough knowledge of Allianz variable and fixed indexed products to turn each advisor contact into an opportunity to gain commitment.
2) Probes to identify the advisors client situation, consults and recommends which type of annuity would be suitable to solve the clients need.
3) This individual would be knowledgable in not only Allianz products, but also the competition.
4) Utilizes existing marketing materials and tools to promote Allianz products.
5) Meets and exceeds key performance benchmarks with an emphasis on career development to attain the position of an Internal Retirement Consultant II.
6) Utilizes databases and other data collection methods to track advisor production levels on current and proposed sales activity including advisor feedback and comments.
7) Once proficient in role, begins to make outbound calls to create long-term future sales opportunities.
8) Exhibits decision making through identifying advisors having the potential of doing more business with Allianz.
9) Exhibits initiative to grow the relationship and production status from identified advisors.

Interaction with Division & Enterprise:
1) Generates and communicates advisor activity and pertinent information to Internal & Retirement Consultants and the approriate Sales Desk Supervisor.
2) Communicates industry trends and competitor information to peers, Internal Retirement Consultants and Management Team.
3) Communicates field reaction to product rollout marketing strategy and existing product marketing efforts.
4) Attends training meetings. Attends weekly distribution meetings.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Experience:
- 0-1 years experience required
- 2-3 years experience preferred: prior sales experience required.

Education:
- High School diploma required
- Four year degree preferred

Licenses/Certifications/Other:
FINRA Series 6, 63 and MN Life Insurance license or willing to obtain in 90 days
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- Ability to attend evening business functions
- Ability to work during hours of 7am - 6pm CST.
- Comfortable with talking on the phone as their primary activity.
