With a view to strengthening our team, we are looking for a:

Test Engineer

The Test Engineer will join the V&V team and will work in close cooperation with other team members and the V&V Test Manager.
The Test Engineer will be responsible for System, component and integration testing and will handle the whole testing cycle.
Testing activities will include both black-box and white-box testing.

 

The Test Engineer will:

- Preparing system test specifications based on requirements
- Setting up the test rig/test environment for the system test procedure to be implemented
- Run the different system test cases according to the test procedure (black box tests)
- Perform static analysis at code level and asses the code quality against defined metrics
- Perform dynamic analysis (unit testing, integration testing)
- Track issues and report the job status to the V&V/Test Manager and the team
- Prepare test reports to document the testing activity’s outcome

Profile

Candidate profile:

Hard skills:
o MSc in Information Engineering (Electronic, Computer or Telecommunication Engineering) or equivalent background (Mechatronics, Computer science/Others)
o Previous experience in Verification and Validation of complex systems (at system and/or component level)
o Familiarity with the V-model and related workflow (with focus on V&V/Testing activities)
o Sound knowledge of object oriented programming techniques and familiarity with the most commonplace programming languages (C, C++, C#)
o Basic knowledge of Python is a plus
o Previous experience with HIL testing is a plus
o Proficient in both Windows and Unix environments
o Broad understanding of hardware and software and hardware-software integration
