Job description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for the independent creation and revision of complex mechanical designs and their corresponding drawings.

You will mainly work on different parts to integrate into the Powertrain.

·  Together with your department you will create and manage various engineering documents.
·  Be up to date with the current production methods and new technologies.
Identify possible problems.
·  Translate the selected concept into production-ready 3D models and design drawings .
·  Regular communication with internal and external parties.
·  Share your knowledge and suggest possible improvements.

Profile

Your Profile:

·  You have an Engineering Degree, with a specific focus/interest in Mechanics and at least 1 year experience.
Experience with CATIA V5 is a must.
Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) is expected.
·  You are detail oriented and have a problem solving mindset.
·  You speak, read and write fluent English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
