Junior ADAS System & Test Engineer – Automotive

 

The resource will be responsible of the following activities:

- Definition of system technical requirements needed to reach the performance targets set for the assigned functionalities;
- Leading the function development during the vehicle design lifecycle, ensuring the achievement of the defined performance targets;
- Leading joint testing activities with the component suppliers involved in the system;
- Support to bench testing and vehicle validation activities, providing analysis and diagnosis of system level issues;
- Assessment of deviations in tests results and performances;
- Analysis and diagnosis of field quality issues;
- Evaluation of the competitors’ driver assistance systems with research activities and vehicle testing;
- Evaluation of the solutions proposed by ADAS system / component foreign suppliers;
- Other functionalities have to be testing Speed Limiter, Cruise Control

Profile

The ideal candidate have a Degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar and a good knowledge of English and Italian language

 

Requirements

- Experience in the development of at least some driver Assistance systems, such as:
- Longitudinal control systems (Autonomous Emergency braking and Forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Intelligent Speed Assistance, Queue Assist)
- Lateral control systems (Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Centering, Blind Spot and Active Blind Spot monitoring)
- Low speed maneuvering systems (Parking assistance, Semi and Full Autonomous Parking Systems, Rear and surround viewing systems)
- Driver monitoring systems
- Experience in System Engineering, especially in the field of safety critical systems
- Basic technical knowledge about the automotive development process
- Basic knowledge about electrical and electronic systems for Automotive (CAN / LIN networks, E/E architectures, functional safety analysis – ISO 26262 norm, etc.)
- Knowledge of tools for vehicle data analysis and logging (CANalyzer, CANape)
- Experience of Project management
- Excellent ability to work in a team and within a complex organization
- Excellent in problem solving to solve the issue
- High sense of independence and self-responsibility
