A great opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services Structure Support Engineer m/f position within Airbus in Blagnac, France.

You will join the Customer Services Structure Support Engineering Department of Airbus

We provide our Customers with technical support in order to optimize and maintain their aircraft fleet flying safely, while contributing to generate value for our customers and Airbus.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

The team is taking care as its fundamental values, based on collective mind set, respect for people, collaboration and support, associated to a focus on quality and customers satisfaction

Within our team, you will start as a specialist focusing first on your newcomer development path.

You will share your time between the Front Office (answering daily queries) and the Back Office (Investigating in-service problems, exploiting in-service experiences).

We offer different options for people development: Internal move from one team to another, Product Leader, Project Management, Expertise, Management,

Being part of Customer Services Engineering, your mission is to:

·  1/ Answer in-service queries

You will be responsible for:

·  Answering technical queries raised by the Customers within the defined time scale and expected level of quality,
·  Identifying the actions for post-treatment

2/ Investigate in-service problems

You will act as a key actor for:

·  Anticipating recurring queries with:
·  Communications and exchanges with our customers (written, webex, face to face),
·  Continuous improvement of our technical documentation
·  Actively contributing to the fleet-wide issues investigation by:

·  Identifying the Safety / Continuous Airworthiness topics,
·  Supporting the Major In-Service Problem process,
·  Communicating to the customers on technical topics status & progress

3/ Exploit in-service experience

             You will be empowered to:

·  Propose and develop R&T and innovative projects
·  Propose and develop engineering services:
·  On-site assistance,
·  Engineering workshop,
·  Expert forum

Required skills :

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

·  Master Degree in Aeronautical Structure Engineering or equivalent
·  You have a previous experience in airframe engineering,
·  Interested in and at ease with digitalization
·  Knowledge in Airbus design tools is a plus
·  Experience in Airlines or Maintenance activities is a plus
·  Experience in Service Support Structure is a plus

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

-  Pragmatic and flexible

-  Outstanding team player and capable of working in a transnational Environment

-  Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

-  Good analytical and problem solving skills

-  Negotiation level in English
