This position is located in Augsburg, Germany.

Context/Activity :
Within the development of our activity and in order to be able to address new space projects, we are looking for a Space Electronic Safety Engineer.

Rigorous and autonomous, you create and maintain the Operational Safety activities of the equipment/systems placed under your responsibility and including:
- Functional analysis and functional and dysfunctional modeling
- Dysfunctional analysis: FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Reliability Block Diagram, Failure Tree
- Reliability calculation (according to MIL-HDBK-217F, or FIDES standards)
- Reliability, Availability, Safety Analysis

As your activity is transversal, you are involved:
- With equipment/system designers to optimize design performance while meeting specified RAMS objectives
- In support of FDIR (Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery) activities
- As part of the program reviews to present the results of the Operational Safety file.

Required skills :
Researched Profile:
Electronic engineer profile with a degree from a university with a first experience in the design of electronic equipment/embedded systems ideally in the space sector.

Technical skills
- Master’s degree as an Electronic engineer or operational safety
- At least 2 years' experience in electronic equipment engineering in the field of operational safety, ideally in space
- Knowledge of ECSS-Q-ST-30, ECSS-Q-ST-ST-40, REACH, ROHS standards appreciated.
- Fluent English, German would be a plus
