Description of the job

A vacancy for an Advanced Eco-design and Life Cycle Analysis Engineer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

This is a great opportunity to support Airbus Eco-design approach and to ease internal implementation of eco-design within the company directly from the environmental team in Airframe.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Performing environmental Life cycle Analysis (LCA),
·  Consolidating the company knowledge on its environmental impacts and provide guidance to mitigate them,
·  Find innovative and creative solutions to make eco-design concrete and understandable from Airbus employees,
·  Supporting and train the team to implement the identified environmental solution and good practices.

You will interface with functions like customers services, programmes, procurements.

For this mission, you need to be curious and interested in all environmental related topics, you would have to work together with various teams from several functions.

We are looking for open-minded applicants, enthusiastic about the idea of making things change

and not being afraid to challenge the norm! Working autonomously is an essential aspect of this role.

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  A degree in Engineering,
·  Knowledge in eco-design (principles, methods and tools),
·  Experience with life cycle analysis professional tools is mandatory (Gabi, Simapro or equivalent),
·  Creative and open mind-set, willingness to explore and learn,
·  Multi-disciplinary experiences would be appreciated,
·  Negotiation level in English (spoken and written)
