This exciting role sits at the heart of Airbus’ Science and Earth Observation satellite division.  The Operations team acts across all projects focussing on innovative ways to improve performance.  We are also responsible for driving Risk Management and cross project activities with connections to all project stakeholders.  Within the ENS Operations team the candidate will have visibility of the full end to end process, from design to receiving equipment to building and testing satellites.

Tasks

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  Training will be provided in Risk Management with the objective to assist projects
·  Consolidating and business analysis of  project management data (performance, schedules, risks, workload, etc)
·  Participation in Operations reviews and driving actions
·  Developing and implementing improvements: visual management, KPI, project management
·  Ad-hoc activities as required by projects.  In the past this has included engineering analysis, clean room activities and participation in transnational projects.

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  An engineering background with interest in satellite technology and development
·  Would like exposure to project management with visibility on the end to end steps from Design to Launch.
·  Strong logic, computing/programming, and digital skills with an interest in business analysis
·  Can handle multiple projects contemporaneously
·  Communicates well and enjoys working in and with teams
