Key skills and experience

·  Recruitment administration experience is highly desirable (with desirable experience of electronic applicant tracker systems)

·  Immediately available or on a short notice period.

·  Strong attention to detail is essential.

·  Excellent administration skills including data entry and records management.

·  Good customer relationship and customer service skills.

·  Ability to keep calm under pressure.

·  Able to effectively communicate with people across the business, both verbally and in writing

Job Responsibilities

·  Provide a professional in-house recruitment service to hiring managers, ensuring they are fully supported throughout the recruitment & selection process.

·  Take ownership of day to day recruitment administration including applicant queries, candidate management, checking and uploading sifting information, scheduling interviews and producing interview packs for hiring managers and panel members.

·  Undertake external media advertising buying and logging against budget

·  Set up on-line psychometric assessments and logging against budget

·  Support candidates who require reasonable adjustments

·  Upload and release interview feedback to candidates

·  Use the Applicant Tracker System to manage recruitment campaigns, ensuring the correct status of the vacancy, i.e at advert, at offer stage

·  Ensure the effective and efficient onboarding of new staff to the Food Standards Agency

·  Undertake pre-employment checks

·  Proactively manage the recruitment campaigns inbox with colleagues, responding to queries and flagging issues to HR colleagues.

·  Ensure that all new starter employee data is entered into i-Trent in a timely, accurate and consistent manner, to agreed standards and targets.

·  Helping managers who require contingent labour (temporary agency staff) to access this via our managed service or via direct contact to agencies. This involves registering managers to use the system, checking the appropriate in-house approval has been obtained, facilitating extension requests and additional budget, updating records and providing reports on use of contingent labour.

·  Collaborate with HR and Resourcing team colleagues to review recruitment processes and implement improvements.

·  Ad hoc administrative HR projects as directed by senior HR colleagues.

·  Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of work.
