Picker/Packer Operative

Temp-Perm

£8.50 per hour (40 hours per week)

Adecco Worcester are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our Kidderminster based client who are looking for Picking/Packing Operatives to join their team on a temporary-permanent basis.

Within this role you'll be working in a Team of 6, picking from a large product line for customers' international orders and packing into a pallet. Due to the amount of products in the warehouse, this role will require a good amount of walking and moving. When picking you'll be working in isolation, and when packing you'll be working with a bubbly and friendly team. So this role would suit someone who enjoys working in a team but is happy to work alone at times.

There are 2 shifts required for this role. They alternate each week:

·  Week 1: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm. Friday 7am-1pm.

·  Week 2: Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm. Friday 10:30am-5pm.

Pay is £8.50 per hour; overtime is offered at time and a half and at present is freely available.

Due to the amount of product lines this role requires someone with outstanding attention to detail when looking at volumes of written information - the ability to read pick lists with long SKU Codes, using a hand-held scanner to find pick locations and finding these. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate an ability to do this. Other than this, our client is open to applicants from all backgrounds so long as they can demonstrate longevity within a previous role.
