The role is office-based, using our bespoke warehouse management system to ensure our customers receive the best level of service. This system is at the heart of the position and full training will be given.
The working hours will be 08.30-17.00.
What we are looking for in the perfect candidate:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Proactive and self-motivated
· Ability to plan and organise working day effectively
· Customer facing skills
· Good communication skills with a professional confident manner when talking on the phone
· Working under pressure often to tight deadlines
· High level of numeracy & literacy with the ability to compose professional emails
· Able to work unsupervised if required
· Possess a good knowledge of IT systems, including software such as Microsoft Office
Useful attributes
· Knowledge of working in logistics and distribution
Responsibilities to include:
· Customer liaison
· Creating daily work orders/delivery notes/invoices
· Route planning
· Generation of unique barcode references for all incoming records
· Setting up of new accounts
· Monthly Invoicing
· Credit Control
· Ensure compliance to Company policy and procedures
· Maintenance of our ISO 9001 & 27001 standards
