Materials and Inventory Co-Ordinator
£24,000 Per Annum
6 Month contract - May go permanent
To provide a comprehensive planning and administration service that fully supports colleagues in the running of an efficient procurement department.
Responsibilities
Administration of daily re- order reports for suppliers, updating delivery information, maintaining and monitoring re order levels, updating master planning schedules and reports
Assist the procurement manger with the day to day management of the supply base
Expediting purchase orders and liaison with suppliers
Analysis and manipulation of data derived from the ERP system
Assist the procurement manager with inventory management and stock control, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Create and produce agreed KPI Figures for the procurement department to be used for reporting at local and group level
Liaison with third party contractors on stock holding and delivery requirements
Experience / Requirements:
Highly numerate and well organised
ERP systems and inventory planning systems essential
Experience purchasing and inventory control essential
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels
Problem solves and works without close supervision
Ability to develop good working relationships with suppliers and contractors
Flexible approach and ability to adapt as circumstances alter
Able to identify trends, monitor KPIS's and implement corrective action where appropriate
Strong attention to detail as accurate processing and interpreting of data will be required
The above role is based on a Temporary 6 month contract - may go permanent with an ASAP start. You would be required to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. For more information please call Georgia on 01384 456782.
