If so read on, Adecco are proud to be working with a well-established company who are seeking a Junior CAM-CNC Programmer to join their expanding team.

Desired Experience / Requirements:

·  Engineering graduate or Engineering apprentice with training in CAD and CNC.

·  Experience programming in CAM environments for 3/5-Axis CNC

·  A keen interest to work within an Engineering/Manufacturing Department to a high level of detail.

·  Enjoys both computer and hands-on manufacturing tasks.

·  Keen to develop new processes within the CAE-CAM programming suite.

·  A fast learner who thrives with challenges.

Responsibilities / Duties:

·  Program 3D CAD models supplied into CAM programs for CNC machining.

·  Choose the right tools for the job, ensuring maximum precision and top surface finish.

·  Setup and maintain CNC machinery, tools and ancillary equipment.

·  Assemble mould assemblies and ensure their correct function.

·  Maintain and re-machine mould faces.

·  Ensure tools are properly stored and maintained.

Location: Southend

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000

Working days: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 9am - 5pm

Duration of contract: Permanent
