Role responsibilities:
Strategic
* Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.
* Analyse inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimise inventory costs.
* Drive, promote and develop positive and constant communication mechanisms with key business partners to improve forecast accuracy.
Inventory:
* Oversee and facilitate all inventory and manufacturing order transactions within the ERP system.
* Track and escalate inventory logistics as needed to ensure on time arrival
* Monitor Maintain and analyse current Inventory Trends, Metrics and Goals.
* Manage and generate inventory adjustments and transfers in ERP system.
* Trace history of items and determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and records and recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
* Manage and track sample inventory process for the region
* Monitor Maintain and analyse current Inventory and demand Trends, Metrics and Goals.
* Reconcile physical inventory and systematic in ERP system across various locations
Planning:
Provide input into the demand planning process to capture regional activities and trends
* Partner with global supply planner to ensure allocation and plans meet regional demand requirements
What we're looking for:
Skills:
* Candidates must have demonstrated high-level analysis skills, including a demonstrated strength in using data-mining software and other analysis tools, including MS Excel, to create high-level analytic reports, insights, summaries and recommendations.
* Strong Excel data modelling skills and analysis work is required.
* Experience with an ERP / planning system is highly preferred.
* Comfort navigating systems and ability to adapt quickly to new systems is required.
* Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.
* Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
* Organisational and problem solving skills required.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of Supply Chain/Master Scheduling experience and Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Product Development and understanding of product life cycles very strongly desired.
* APICS certification
