Adecco are recruiting for a fantastic I.T Support/Analyst role for our large corporate client based in a busy but friendly Service Delivery Centre in Wakefield.

Minimum requirements include:

·  University degree in Computer Science (or similar) or IT Diploma (NVQ Level 3+ / Apprenticeship

·  Additional qualifications: Microsoft Certificates, CompTIA (A+/N+), CISCO qualifications (e.g CCNA)

·  Experience of a programming language (i.e powershell) or studied and implemented through education.

·  Understanding and experience of Windows workstations and using Windows Server 2012+

·  Understanding of networking

Desirable qualities:

·  Has experience on a 1st line or 2nd line helpdesk

·  Experience in dealing with tight deadlines and external clients

·  Evaluating processes, gathering end user feedback and make recommendations on improvements to the technical support provision.

·  Implement improvements suggested following approval

·  Provide basic technical coaching to end uses in a professional and friendly manner

·  Provide remote technical customer support

·  Use and understand topologies and systems

·  Gather experience on protecting data against security threats

·  Analyse information to understand constraints in various areas; storage, security etc.

·  Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of technical faults

·  Full driving license and access to vehicle

This role is due to start ASAP however successful candidates are required to undergo SC Clearance check.

Working hours: Monday-Friday 40 hour week between 7am and 7pm.

Standby required to cover 1 weekend in 4 plus evenings on call - rota, decided locally.

Pay rate: £12-£13 p/h (£24K - £25K p.a) + Overtime rate for out of hours and standby. Annual bonus linked to targets

This is a temporary ongoing (long term) contract with the potential to be permanent for the right candidate.
